Founded by Dario Ferrari in 1972, Intercos has consistently been at the forefront of the industry, shaping the beauty landscape with transformative products and solutions for both renowned and rising brands. The Group boasts a role as worldwide leader in the outsourced color cosmetics market with a market share of more than 11%and an important position in the outsourced skincare market (the number one company in the West in terms of sales) As of 2021, Intercos was listed on the Euronext Milan market, solidifying its global reputation and commitment to innovation. It closed 2025 with net sales of €1,047.2 million, reflecting a +12% CAGR increase since listed (from 2021 to 2025). Adjusted EBITDA followed the same growth path, reaching €156m in 2025 (+12% CAGR vs. 2021).

Currently, the group’s client portfolio comprises more than 700 customers worldwide, divided between multinationals, emerging brands, and retailers, including almost all main cosmetics industry players in the color cosmetics, skincare, hair & personal care, and fragrances markets. Intercos is present on three continents with a workforce of more than 6.300 employees, 12 R&D centers, 15 production plants, and 16 commercial offices worldwide.

With unmatched global reach, cutting-edge R&D, trend intuition, and a resolute focus on sustainability, Intercos empowers its partners to turn visionary concepts into innovative solutions. To this end, the Group has dedicated a significant budget equal to about 5% of sales on a yearly basis to innovation, including the contribution of 1,113 people dedicated to innovation onlyat December 31, 2025. Its in-house research teams and specialized labs pioneer work on Blue Sky Research, Applied Research as well as on Color Development and customization, developing proprietary raw materials and bioactives that power next-generation formulas and redefine the future of beauty. In 2025, more than 2,100 new formulations have been developed internally.

Intercos is committed to strengthening its expertise across every beauty category, constantly pushing the boundaries of innovation to redefine what’s possible in the industry. Building on decades of unmatched know-how, the group has unveiled in 2022 its state-of-the-art Fragrance Hall, a 3,000 m² research and innovation center dedicated exclusively to olfactory development. This advanced facility brings together in-house technical experts and dedicated customization teams under one roof, enabling seamless collaboration from concept to launch.

With a unique ability to combine global expertise and a localized approach, Intercos delivers exceptional service across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. Strengthening its presence in Asia, the Group inaugurated a new R&D lab and commercial office in India in 2024. Building on this momentum, in 2025 Intercos continued its expansion plans, doubling the capacity of the plant located in South Korea and enlarging one of the plants based in China.
